Does your school/district have students who are working to give back to the community in which they live? Or maybe, they have expanded their reach to include the global community. If so, please encourage them to apply for one of Kentucky Association of School Administrator’s (KASA) Student Impact Grants. This grant funds schools in Kentucky (grades K-12) who strive to take the next step in education by using project based learning in their classrooms and giving back to their community or the global community.
This application is for a grant of up to $2,500 awarded to a project based learning class or group. Applicants for this grant may be students or classes from any grade level in the state of Kentucky. The applicants will be divided into four different age levels (grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-12) and there will be one recipient from each level.
Previous recipients include Eastern Elementary in Henry County, West Point Elementary, West Point, Indiana; North Laurel Middle, in Laurel County; and Lee County High School, Lee County.
